How I teach
A background in linguistics and translation means I explain why the language works the way it does, not just what to memorise.
- 01
Built around you
Every lesson plan starts from your goals, your level and your interests, so you never sit through material that isn't for you.
- 02
Speaking from day one
Conversation is at the heart of every session. You'll practise real situations, not just fill in worksheets.
- 03
Clear explanations
With an MA in Translation Studies and a BA in Linguistics, I can break tricky grammar down into patterns that stick.
- 04
Culture included
Language lives in culture. Expect idioms, humour and the little details that make you sound like you belong.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do I need any prior knowledge?
Not at all. I teach complete beginners as well as advanced learners. The trial lesson helps us find exactly where to start.
Where do the lessons take place?
Lessons are online via video call, so you can learn from anywhere. In-person lessons in Limassol may be possible on request.
Can you help me prepare for an exam?
Yes. Tell me which exam you're preparing for and we'll build lessons around its format, vocabulary and the skills it tests.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
Life happens. Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice can be rescheduled at no cost.
Do you teach children?
My lessons are designed for teenagers and adults. Get in touch if you'd like to discuss lessons for a younger learner.
